Rajshahi board on top, Sylhet at bottom

Rajshahi education board has emerged top among eight boards with 86.07 per cent pass rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

According to statistics released from the education ministry, a total of 1,93,862 students sat for SSC and equivalent examinations, out of which 1,66,865 emerged successful.

Sylhet board, with 1,08,928 examinees, on the other hand, secured the lowest pass rate among the eight divisional boards with 70.43 per cent pass rate.

With 81.48 percent pass rate, the Dhaka board has secured the second highest position. A total of 5,30,423 students had appeared from Dhaka division in the SSC.
