Ship-breaker dies in Ctg

A worker was killed and two others were injured in a gas pipeline explosion at a ship-breaking yard in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong this morning.

The deceased was identified as Ilias, 30, who hailed from Jessore, our Chittagong correspondent reports.

The injured were treated at the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, said Nayek Jahangir Alam of the medical police camp.

The gas pipeline went off when Ilias with two other workers were working at the ship breaking yard around 9:30am.
