'Sec 32 more dangerous than Sec 57 of ICT Act'

Journalists of the district yesterday said Section 32 of the new draft Digital Security Act is more dangerous than the Section 57 of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.

They said this at a human chain programme in front of Rangamati deputy commissioner's office in the town.

Rangamati Press Club and different journalists' associations in the district organised the programme around 11:00am.

Demanding cancellation of the new draft law, speakers said the government has made the regulation to pave way for the corrupt officials.

Sushil Prasad Chakma, president of Rangamati Reporters Unity, Muhammad Solaiman, president of Rangamati Journalists Union, spoke among others, with Rangamati Press Club President Sakhawat Hossain Rubel in the chair.
