Schoolteacher suspended for misbehaviour

A teacher of Falimari Government Primary School in Aditmari upazila of the district was suspended yesterday on charge of unethical behaviour with female students of the school.

He is Amir Hossain, 43, an assistant teacher of the school, said Aditmari Upazila Primary Education Officer Shafiqul Islam Khandker.

On Monday, Aditmari police arrested the teacher for misbehaviour with female students.

Headmaster Pulin Chandra Sarkar said the arrestee was warned several times in this regard but he did not care.
