School room torched

Criminals set fire to the office room of Boikanthapur Baldia Primary School in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila early yesterday. Locals said a gang torched the office room around 5:00pm. All the documents of the school were gutted in the fire. Later, local people brought the blaze under control. Criminals carried out the arson attack over UP election to be held tomorrow to create panic among locals, suspected Md Aminul Haque, headmaster of the school. A general diary was filed with Thakurgaon Police Station in this connection.
