The national flag carrier has carried 49,545 pilgrims to Jeddah till yesterday. In the last flight, it carried 290 pilgrims.

On the last day, yesterday, Biman carried around 2,900 pilgrims by nine flights.

Besides, over 2,000 seats remained unoccupied since the Hajj flights started on August 4.

A total of 1.1 lakh pilgrims from Bangladesh are scheduled to perform Hajj this year.
