Results of HSC, equivalent to be published on August 18

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on August 18 across the country simultaneously.

Disclosing the date, Nahid said that he would ceremonially hand over copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) around 10:00am on that day, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

Later, he will officially announce the results at a press conference at his office at the secretariat and then it will be sent to all educational institutions across the country, the report said.

Over 12 lakh students under the eight education boards sat for this year's HSC and its equivalent exams.
