Reshuffle in civil administration

The government today brought changes in the posts of deputy commissioners, magistrates and some other posts at the civil administration.

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Khagrachari Muhammad Wahiduzzaman has been transferred to Rangpur while Md Rahat Anwar, deputy commissioner and district magistrate of Rangpur has been transferred to Sylhet.

Deputy Secretary of Land Ministry Md Rashedul Islam has been made district commissioner and district magistrate of Khagrachari while Dr Malik Anwar Hossain, director of Department of Environment, has been made deputy commissioner and district magistrate of Sherpur.

Dr Subhash Chandra Biswas, personal secretary to the state minister of Youth and Sports Ministry, has been transferred to Narsingdi as deputy commissioner and district magistrate.

Abu Hena Morshed Zaman, deputy commissioner and district magistrate (joint secretary) of Narsingdi, has been made director of Department of Environment.

Md Joynal Abedin, deputy commissioner and district magistrate (joint secretary) of Sylhet, has been made project director of European Union (EU) Support in Health and Nutrition to the Poor in Urban Bangladesh project under Department of the Local Government.

Dr F M Pervez Rahim, district commissioner and district magistrate (deputy secretary) of Sherpur, has been made director of Disabled Development Foundation.

Apart from these changes some other minor changes in the administration have also been made.

Md Selim Molla, officer on special charge (deputy secretary) of Ministry of Public Administration, has been made deputy director of Education Engineering Department under Education Ministry.  

Sheikh Khalil Ur Rahman, officer on special charge (deputy secretary) of Ministry of Public Administration, has been made deputy project manager of Procurement of Equipment for Search and Rescue Operation (phase -2) project under Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
