Rakub’s Thakurgaon branch guard stabbed dead

Miscreants allegedly stabbed a night guard to death at Thakurgaon branch of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (Rakub) this evening.

The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam, 26, of Mollahpara Barabaria village in the Sadar upazila, Mashiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station, told our correspondent.

Miscreants stabbed Rabiul to death inside the branch office at Farabari area of Thakurgaon around 7:30pm, the OC said adding that Rabiul might have been killed over previous enmity.
