Rain likely on Eid day

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at country's different places in the morning on the day of Eid-ul-Azha tomorrow while it may intensify in the afternoon.

"It may rain tomorrow. Light rain is likely to occur in the morning but it may intensify later," Bangladesh Metrological Department meteorologist Rubayet Kabir told BSS.

He said rain is being occurred in the country's many places including Dhaka today.

However, in a 24-hour weather forecast from 9:00am today of the Metrological Department said light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 6.05pm and tomorrow's sunrise would be here at 5.44am, the release added.
