Prisoner dies in Jhenidah

A man, who was sentenced to two years' imprisonment in three check forgery cases, died of heart attack at Jhenidah Sadar Hospital yesterday.

The dead is Ishaque Ali Sardar, 62, of Paglakanai village in Sadar upazila.

Ishaque fell sick following a chest pain when he was going to take a bath in the district jail in the morning.

He was rushed to the hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead, said Jail Superintendent Golam Hossain.
