Primary school headmaster stabbed dead in Netrakona

Unknown assailants stabbed a primary school headmaster to death in Barhatta upazila of Netrakona this morning.

Arjun Biswas, 42, headmaster of Monas Government Primary School, was stabbed to death around 9:45am at Chhoygaon village in Barhatta upazila, Md Salemuzzaman, officer-in-charge of local police station, told The Daily Star.

He might have been killed following a conflict between the school’s managing committee members, the OC suspects primarily.

The victim came under the attack on way to his school, police said.
