Parliament session to run until Dec 12

Thirteenth session of the 10th parliament will continue till December 12, the Business Advisory Committee of the Jatiya Sangsad decided today.

The meeting empowered Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, speaker of the house, to increase duration of the session, a press release from the parliament said.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina, Leader of the Opposition Raushan Ershad, Jatiyata Party Chairman HM Ershad, Awami League Lawmakers Amir Hossain Amu, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Mohammad Fazle Rabbi Mia, Abul Hasnat Abdullah, and Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon.

With Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, the meeting decided to continue the session till 4:00pm every day.
