Pahela Baishakh Preparations

A large number of people throng a market in Mymensingh town yesterday.

"Pera", a specially prepared sweetmeat treated as a unique delicacy, is ready for sale at the shop of Apu Sarker Apurbo in the same town.

Potters give finishing touches to polish earthenware at Kumarpara in Kholahati union of Gaibandha Sadar upazila as people are preparing to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year tomorrow.
