Outlaw held with arms, ammo

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged outlaw with arms and bullets from his house at Byashpur village in Shailakupa upazila of the district early yesterday.

The arrestee is Badsha Mallik, 45, regional leader of outlawed Biplobi Communist Party (BCP-Haque), and son of Chand Ali Laskar of the village.

On secret information, the elite force raided the house around 4:00am and arrested Badsha with a sub machine gun (SMG), a double barrel shotgun, 105 bullets and a magazine.

A case was filed in this connection, said Rab-6 sources.
