Youth held with 4000 yaba pills in stomach

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 4000 yaba pills hidden inside his stomach from Kishoreganj on Tuesday.

The arrestee is Md Mamun Mia, 26, of Karimganj upazila.

On information, a team of Rab-14 raided Ukilpara area in Kishoreganj town and arrested Mamun.

First they seized125 yaba pills from his pant’s pockets.

During interrogation, Mamun confessed that he carried some 4000 yaba pills in his stomach.

Later, X-ray was conducted on him and revealed presence of packets inside his stomach.
