Woman's body found in Arial Kha river

The body of a middle aged woman was found in the Arial Kha river in Madaripur Sadar upazila on Friday afternoon.

Identity of the woman, age around 45, could not be known.

Seeing the body floating on the river around 5:00pm, a few youths informed the police, said Md Wahiduzzaman, officer in charge of Madaripur Sadar Police Station.

Later police recovered the body and sent it to Madaripur General Hospital for autopsy around 5:45 pm on Friday, he said.
