Woman kills self

A woman took her life by hanging herself at Bhandara College Para in Ranishankoil upazila yesterday.

The deceased was Shilpi Begum, 28, wife of Masud Rana of the village.

Officer in Charge of Ranishankoil Police Station Abdul Mannan said Shilpi engaged in an altercation with her husband over paying money to milk supplier around 11:30am.

When her husband left house after altercation, she took her life by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room, said the OC.
