Univ admission seeker kills self

An admission seeker allegedly committed suicide after she failed to get chance at Barishal University.

The deceased was Mim, 19, daughter of Shajahan of Barishal city, said Abdul Halim Talukder, officer in charge (investigation) of Nalchity Police Station.

Quoting the victim's friends, Shajahan said Mim jumped into the Sugandha river in Barishal five days ago and went missing after she learnt that she did not get chance at the university.
