Two arrested with heroin

Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 500gm of heroin from Dinajpur town on Monday.

The arrestees are Al Amin, 28, son of Mofiz Uddin of Charsekhalipur (Rabanpara) village, and Tariqul Islam, 41, son of Ilias Kalu of Biswanathpur village in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.

Redwanur Rahim, officer-in-charge of Dinajpur Sadar Police Station, said on secret information, a police team raided Lily More area around 8:45am on Monday and arrested the duo and seized 500gm of heroin from their possession after searching their shoes.
