‘Read books to get rid of mobile phone addiction’

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Javed Patwary has advised the students to read books in a bid to reduce addiction of mobile phones.

“Read books to eliminate the addiction on mobile phone use. It will help you (students) to utilise your brain properly,” IGP Patwary said while addressing a programme held at Rajarbagh Police Lines auditorium yesterday.

He also called upon the students to attain human qualities for being good human.

Terming them as future nation-builder, the IGP said the country will move forward with their strong leadership.

The programme was presided over by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Director General Benazir Ahmed while Additional IGP (Administration and Operations) Md Mainur Rahman Chowdhury and Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Shafiqul Islam among others were present at the programme.
