‘Police to manage job for wife of Senior ASP Anisul Karim’

Deputy Inspector General of Dhaka range police Habibur Rahman today said police would manage a job for the wife of Senior ASP Anisul Karim, who was allegedly beaten to death by the staff of Mind Aid Psychiatry and De-Addiction Hospital in the capital's Adabor in Dhaka.

"A job will be managed for Anisul's wife. IGP Benazir Ahmed has asked us to take necessary steps in this regard," DIG Habibur said while talking to reporters after visiting the house of slain ASP Anisul Karim in Gazipur today.

DIG Habibur Rahman and some officials of Bangladesh Police Service Association went the house of Anisul Karim at Baruda in Gazipur town and talked to the family and relatives of the deceased, reports our Gazipur correspondent.  

Responding to a query about the promotion of Anisul, the police official said ASP Anisul was being not promoted due to legal process not any other issue.
