PMO trashes report on relief distribution by only Army, Navy

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) today refuted a report that only Army and Navy will distribute government-provided relief materials from now on.

"This is totally false and fabricated," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said in a statement.

He said the meeting which took place at PM's official residence Gono Bhaban on Thursday did not take any such decision.

Ihsanul also urged all not to publish reports based on assumption.

He also called upon on media outlets to ensure the authenticity of any report and publish objective news.
