Many promoted in police force, 7 made additional DIG, 63 SP

In a major promotion in the police administration, seven superintendent of police (SP) ranked officials have been promoted to the rank of additional deputy inspector general and 63 additional superintendents of police have been promoted to SP.

Other than that, 105 assistant SP ranked police officials have been made additional SP.

Public Security Division of the Home Ministry today issued separate gazette notifications in this regard.
