Man, son found murdered

Police recovered bodies of a man and his son from Bakerganj upazila yesterday and on Friday night.

The deceased, Yeasin Howlader, 21, and his father Helal Uddin, of Koladoania village in Pirojpur's Nazirpur upazila, used to sell fish traps (locally called chai).

Officer in Charge (OC) of Bakerganj Police Station Abul Kalam said they first recovered Yeasin's throat-slit body from a jungle near Pandob river at Laxmipasha village on Friday evening.

Nearly 13 hours of the incident villagers spotted Helal's body at a nearby place around 7:00am yesterday, the OC said.

Police primarily suspects that criminals might have killed them and took away their trawler and money.
