Man kills wife

A woman was killed allegedly by her husband over family feud in Jamalpur town on Sunday night.

The deceased, Fatema Begum, 35, third wife of Sayeed Ali of Kompapur area, was mother of four children.

Quoting locals, police said, following the death of one of their daughters a years ago, the couple often locked in altercation.  Around 9:30pm, at one stage of altercation, Sayeed stabbed Fatema on the chest with a knife and fled the scene, leaving her dead on the spot, police said.
