Man detained by BSF

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) detained a Bangladeshi national on Ghagra border in Panchagarh Sadar upazila on Sunday.  

The detainees, Omar Faruk, 24, is a constable at Panchagarh Police Lines.

Yusuf Ali, a member of Ward No 7, said three people, including a policeman locked in an altercation with a group of Indian national near the border around 8:30pm.

At one stage, the Indians caught the cop, beat him and handed him over to the BSF.
