Major (retd) Sinha murder: probe body quizzing Pradeep at Cox’s Bazar jail

Probe committee members are interrogating suspended Teknaf Police Station officer-in-charge Pradeep Kumar Das, an accused in a case filed over murder of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan. 

The four-member committee formed by the home ministry reached Cox's Bazar jail in the morning and started to record Pradeep's statement around 11:00am, according to sources at the jail.

The interrogation is continuing till filing this report around 1:45pm.

Meanwhile, Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed today said like the people of the country, Bangladesh Army also wants exemplary punishment in Major (retd) Sinha murder case.

The army chief made this statement in Chattogram, ISPR said issuing a statement.
