Land development services to be fully digitised from next July

The land development tax management system will be fully digitised from July 1 next year, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said today.

The minister said this after inaugurating the first phase of the land development tax management software piloting programme at the ministry.

Currently these services are operated both manually and digitally but from July next year, they will be fully digitalised, he said.

"We tried to keep the software operation simple and hopefully it'll be in proper shape within July," Chowdhury said.

The services will be easier under the digital system and "We'll arrange training at the grassroots," the minister said.
