JMB suspect arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested a suspected operative of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Chirirbandar upazila on Sunday night.

The arrestee is Harun Ur Rashid alias Harun Munsi, 39, son of Abdul Hakim of Dakkhin Sukhdebpur village in the upazila.

On secret information, the elite force raided Nashratpur village and arrested Harun.

They also seized books on jihad from his possession, said ASP ANM Imran Khan of Rab-13 in Rangpur.
