Hundi trader arrested

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a hundi trader with Tk 8 lakh at Chtoachra village under Benapole Port Police Station yesterday morning.

The arrestee is Hamjer Ali, 35, son of Dukhu Boidyo of bordering Khalshi village under the police station.   

Ariful Haque , commanding officer of BGB-49 Battalion, said on secret information, the border guards raided the area and waylaid his motorbike and arrested him with the money.

Later, the arrestee was handed over to the police station.

A case was filed in this connection, said the BGB official.
