Human hauler driver killed in Bagerhat road crash

A human hauler driver was killed after his vehicle turned turtle on the Khulna-Mawa highway in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat this noon.

Syed Swadhin (16), son of Hafizur Rahman, hailed from Mulghar area of Fakirhat upazila of the district, our Bagerhat correspondent reports quoting police.

Quoting locals, Abu Sayed Mohammad Khairul Anam, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fakirhat Model Police Station, said the Fakirhat Bazar-bound human hauler (Nasimon) from Faltita-Battala overturned on the road in Mulghar area at noon after its driver Swadhin lost control.

Swadhin was injured critically after the vehicle crashed against a wall on the side of the road, said the OC.

He was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, added the OC.
