Housewife dies of dengue fever in Jashore

A woman died of  dengue fever at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jashore town yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Sima Khatun, wife of Billal Hossain of Patibila village in Jashore’s Monirampur upazila.

Three days ago, Sima was taken to the hospital after she was diagnosed with dengue fever, said local union parishad member Visharat Hossain.

Earlier, Sima was admitted to Chaugachha Upazila Health Complex where she was diagnosed with fever and she was then referred to Jashore Sadar Hospital as her condition worsened.

As her condition had not improved there, sima was then sent to Ibn Sina Hospital where she died early yesterday.
