Four killed in Magura road accident

Four people were killed and 17 others were injured as two buses collided head-on in Magura's Sadar upazila today.

Two of the deceased were identified as Amin Hossain (43) supervisor of the bus--Chakladar Paribahan--and the bus helper Arif Hossain (25). Identities of the two others could not be known immediately.

The accident took place when a Shohag Paribahan bus and Chakladar Paribahan bus collided head-on at Mughurdhal, leaving three people dead on the spot and 18 others injured, said Additional Superintendent of Police in Magura Md Ibrahim Hossain.

One of the injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to Magura Sadar Hospital, our Jhenidah correspondent reports.

The bodies were sent to the hospital's morgue for autopsy.
