Finance minister leaves for Singapore for treatment

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has left Dhaka for Singapore tonight for follow-up treatment.

The information was provided in a press release from the Ministry of Finance.

It said, "Finance minister had gone to Dubai for follow-up treatment last October. But now, follow-up treatment has become urgent as he could not receive proper treatment there due to the coronavirus outbreak."

He may return to the country on December 11 or the nearest date, it stated.
