College teacher killed in Patuakhali road accident

A college teacher was killed after a speeding trolley crashed into his motorcycle in Baufal upazila of Patuakhali this morning.

Deceased Sarwar Hossain (32) was a lecturer of English department at Sir Salimullah Collegiate School in Baufal upazila and resident of Jauta village in Baufal union of the upazila.

Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Baufal Police Station, said the incident happened when Sarwar was going to college from home on his motorcycle this morning.

Sarwar suffered injuries after the motorbike was hit by the trolley coming from the opposite direction in front of Baufal Government Model Secondary School around 9:30 am, said the OC.

Locals rescued him and took to Baufal Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead, our Patuakhali correspondent reports, quoting the police official.
