‘Children’s security a far cry’

Children are being tortured both mentally and physically at different places and their security is still a far cry, said speakers at a view ex-changing in Mymensingh town yesterday.

World Vision Bangladesh, Mymensingh unit, organised the programme at its conference room in the town.

Children are being tortured at homes, educational institutions and workplaces, they said, adding that around 100 crore children are being victims of violence across the world every day.

Terming the recent incidents of torture on children as worst one, they said if people of the society are not made aware properly, such menace cannot be stopped.
