Chief justice convenes full court meeting on Saturday

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossainhas convened a full court meeting with all judges of both the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court on Saturday to decide on whether regular court functions will resume or virtual court activities will continue from Sunday.

The meeting will be held around 3:00pm through video conference, according to a circular issued by the SC registrar general.

Regular activities of the courts across the country remained closed since March 26 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The closures are scheduled to continue till May 30 (Saturday).
