Brahmanbaria Press Club gets new committee

Riaz Uddin Jami of dainik Janakantha and Jabed Rahim Bijon of the daily Manabzamin were elected the president and general secretary respectively of Brahmanbaria Press Club today.

The other office bearers include senior Vice President Pijush Kanti Acharjee, Vice President Ibrahim Khan Sadat, treasurer Nazrul Islam Shahajada, office secretary Shahajahan Shazu and culture and information technology affairs secretary Mujibur Rahman Khan.

Besides, four other candidates in four posts were elected uncontested. They are: joint secretary Syed Riaz Ahmed Apu, library and sports affairs secretary HM Siraj and two executive members Monir Hossain and Farhadul Islam Parvez.
