Attorney General Mahbubey Alam's condition remains critical

The health condition of Attorney General Mahbubey Alam -- who has been undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka -- remains critical as of today.

"His physical condition remains as critical, as earlier. It cannot be said in detail at this moment," Law Minister Anisul Huq told The Daily Star this afternoon.

Praying for a quick and complete recovery of the top law officer of the state, Minister Anisul Huq said that the doctors are giving their best effort for his proper treatment.

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam was admitted to Dhaka CMH on September 4 after being diagnosed with Covid-19.

He was taken to the ICU on the morning of September 18 after his health condition suddenly deteriorated. Later, his health condition had improved somewhat.
