Ambulance driver dies in Savar accident

An ambulance driver died as he hit a roadside tree after losing control on the steering in Savar, on the outskirt of the capital Dhaka this evening.

The victim Mizan Rahman, 30, was a driver of an ambulance of Prime Hospital in the area, our local correspondent reports quoting Abdul Awal, officer-in-charge of Savar Police Station.

The accident took place as the victim played his ambulance on garbage lies scattered on the street at Boliarpur in the area around 7:40pm, the OC added.
