ACC sues Titas manager

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed a case against Syed Nasir Uddin Ahmed, manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, for allegedly acquiring illegal assets.

ACC Deputy Assistant Director Ferdous Rahman filed the case at the ACC Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1 today.

Syed Nasir Uddin Ahmed committed a punishable offense as he did not mention the information of TK 11,672,140 and failed to show any source of TK 6,784,515, said the case statement.

Earlier, on April 2, 2019, the commission issued an order for the submission of details of all movable and immovable assets, liabilities, sources of income and their acquisitions in the name of himself, his wife and his dependents.

Accordingly, he submitted the statement of assets to the Anti-Corruption Commission on May 5, 2019.
