Abducted schoolgirl yet to be rescued

A schoolgirl, who was abducted allegedly by her neighbour in Sadar upazila on Saturday, is yet to be rescued.

The victim is a Class VI student of a local high school.

Salemuzzaman, OC of Sadar Police Station, said Amin, 19, son of Saha Ali of the village, abducted the girl on Saturday morning when she was returning home from her private tutor’s house in Baruamari Bazar area.

They were raiding different areas to rescue the girl and arrest the accused, said the OC.
