4 killed in thunder strike in Pabna

At least four people were killed and another injured in thunder strike in two upazilas of Pabna this afternoon.

Our local correspondent reports, three died at the Agbagshoa village in Bera upazila and another at Noubaria village in Vangura upazila.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Mannan, 50, Md Abdus Salam, 49, and Anser Mallik, 47, of Agbagshoa, and Shamim Ahmed, 35, of Noubaria.

Three of the victims were working on the fields and the other fishing when they died in thunder strike, police officers said.

Another victim Ershad Mollah, 30, is undergoing treatment in Bera Upazila Health Complex.
