3 addict teenagers stabbed by fellow

Three drug addict teenagers were stabbed by a fellow centring a feud over sharing hemp in Chirirbandar upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The victims are Saiful Islam, 15, son of Azim Uddin, Al Amin, 16, son of Aminul Islam, and Omar Faruk, 15, son of Ashraf Ali, of Barapara village in the upazila.

They are now undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) with severe stab injuries.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chirirbandar Police Station Harisul Islam said Md Joy, 15, son of Ekramul Haque, developed a feud with his three friends recently over sharing of drugs.

On Tuesday night, Joy invited the three to an isolated place in Balapara area for a party. 

As the trio arrived there, Joy indiscriminately stabbed them with a knife and fled the scene around 9:30pm, leaving them severely injured.
