28 hurt in villagers clash

At least 28 people were injured and 20 houses damaged in a clash between two groups of villagers in Saltha upazila yesterday.

Locals said there had been a conflict between one Kohinur Mattubar, 44, and Yusuf Mattubbar, 56, for long.

Around 6:00am, a supporter of Kohinur broke down an earthen oven of one of Yusuf's followers.

Later, both the groups locked in a clash that left 28 people injured.
