20 hurt in AL factional clash

At least 20 people, including five policemen, were injured in a clash between two factions of ruling Awami League (AL) over establishing supremacy at Baraibari village in Madaripur Sadar upazila yesterday.

The injured were admitted to Madaripur General Hospital.

Being informed, police went to the spot and fired blank shots to bring the situation under control. They also detained 14 people from the village for their alleged involvement in the incident clash.
