2 cousins drown

Two boys drowned in a pond in Chirirbandar upazila of the district yesterday.

The victims are Tomas Das, 12, son of Dhananjoy Das, and his cousin Chhotan Das, 10, son of Manmohan Das, of Khochna-Bhaduriapara in the upazila.

Quoting the deceased's family members, police said villagers found their bodies floating in pond and informed them.  

The boys went out their house on Monday morning and remained missing since then, Officer in Charge of Chirirbandar Police Station Subrata Sarkar said.
