2 with breathing complications die in Barishal

Two persons died today at Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital after they were admitted with coronavirus-like symptoms.

The deceased are a 55-year-old man from Bakerganj upazila of Barishal and a 50-year-old woman from Patuakhali's Kalapara upazila, our Barishal correspondent reports.

"Both of them had coronavirus-like symptoms including fever and breathing complications. The man was admitted to the hospital around 10:30am and died around 2:45pm. The woman was admitted around 10:00am and died around 2:50pm," said Md Bakir Hossain, director of the hospital.

Samples have been collected from both of them for Covid-19 test, he added.
