MJF honours 10 human rights activists

Manusher Jonno Foundation has given honourary award to 10 human rights activists from all over the country as recognition for their glorious contribution in their field.

The award recipients are: Rajeda Akhter of Tangail, Sabina Yeasmin of Dinajpur, Champa Begum of Kishorganj, Momeja Begum of Dinajpur, Anjoli Rani Debi of Gaibandha, Uthoin Ggay Marma of Bandarban, Fawzia Nasrin of Netrakona, Aleya Begum and Shamoli Bosu of Jhenidah and Firoza Begum of Kustia.

Law Minister Anisul Haque was the chief guest at the programme held at Bangla Academy today.

Rights activist Sultana Kamal, who was also present on the occasion, said such recognitions will inspire the winners to work with renewed energy and enthusiasm in the future.
